Configuring Your Professional Email Address

Updated on June 19, 2026 • 15 min read

Using a generic @gmail.com or @yahoo.com email address for your business instantly diminishes your professional credibility. Domzivo partners with industry-leading providers to offer robust, secure, and highly deliverable Business Email attached directly to your custom domain.

Chapter 1: Purchasing an Email Plan

Before you can create mailboxes, you must purchase an email plan and attach it to one of your active domains.

  1. Go to Manage Email in your dashboard sidebar.
  2. Click on the "Purchase New Plan" button.
  3. Select the domain you wish to attach the email service to from the dropdown menu. Note: You must already own the domain, and it must be active.
  4. Select your plan tier (e.g., Starter, Professional, Enterprise). Higher tiers offer more storage space per mailbox and advanced anti-spam features.
  5. Complete the checkout process.

Chapter 2: DNS Configuration (Crucial Step)

This is where most users get stuck. For your business email to actually send and receive messages, the internet needs to know where to route emails addressed to your domain. This is done via DNS (Domain Name System) records.

2.1 Setting up MX Records

MX (Mail Exchanger) records tell the internet which servers handle your email. If your domain is registered with Domzivo and you are using our default nameservers, our system will automatically configure your MX records for you!

If you are using custom nameservers (like Cloudflare or AWS Route 53), you must manually add the following records to your external DNS provider:

Type: MX | Name: @ | Value: mx1.titan.email | Priority: 10
Type: MX | Name: @ | Value: mx2.titan.email | Priority: 20

2.2 SPF and DKIM Records (For Deliverability)

To prevent your emails from going to your recipients' spam folders, you MUST configure SPF and DKIM. These records prove to providers like Gmail that you are legitimately authorized to send email on behalf of your domain.

Type: TXT | Name: @ | Value: v=spf1 include:spf.titan.email ~all
Type: TXT | Name: titan1._domainkey | Value: v=DKIM1; k=rsa; p=YOUR_UNIQUE_KEY

You can find your unique DKIM key inside the Email Management dashboard.

DNS Propagation Delay

After updating DNS records, it can take anywhere from 15 minutes to 48 hours for the changes to propagate across the entire global internet. Be patient if your email does not work immediately after setup.

Chapter 3: Creating and Managing Mailboxes

Once DNS is verified, you can create actual email addresses (e.g., [email protected], [email protected]).

  • In the Email Manager, click "Add Mailbox".
  • Enter the prefix (the part before the @ symbol).
  • Assign a secure password for this specific mailbox.
  • Click Create. The mailbox is instantly ready for use.

Chapter 4: Accessing Webmail

You do not need to install any software to read your email. You can access your inbox from any browser anywhere in the world.

Simply navigate to webmail.domzivo.com (or use the "Login to Webmail" button in your dashboard). Enter your full email address (e.g., [email protected]) and the password you set for that mailbox.

4.1 Mobile Apps & Third-Party Clients

You can also connect your business email to the native Mail app on your iPhone, or to Outlook and Gmail. Use the following IMAP/SMTP settings:

  • Incoming Server (IMAP): imap.titan.email (Port 993, SSL/TLS)
  • Outgoing Server (SMTP): smtp.titan.email (Port 465, SSL/TLS)
