Our story
The idea for Domzivo started with a simple problem: registering a domain name in Africa was unnecessarily expensive and frustrating. Outdated interfaces, no local payment support, inflated currency conversions, and unresponsive customer service were the norm.
Wilson Chidera Obasi, a software engineer and entrepreneur, experienced this firsthand while launching projects. After paying premium prices for what should have been a commodity service, he decided to build the registrar he wished existed: fast, beautifully designed, and priced fairly for African markets.
Through 2025, the team built Domzivo from the ground up: engineering local currency checkout through Paystack and Flutterwave, integrating over 500 TLDs, adding free WHOIS privacy on every domain, and creating ZIVO, our AI domain name generator. In 2026, Domzivo officially launched.
We are just getting started. Every feature we build, every price we set, and every support ticket we answer is guided by one belief: the internet should be accessible to everyone.

Wilson is a software engineer and entrepreneur based in Nigeria. After years of building web products and paying premium prices for basic domain services, he set out to solve the problem at its root: build a modern registrar designed specifically for African markets, but competitive on a global level.
After over a year of development, Domzivo launched in 2026. What started as a personal frustration is now a platform built to serve businesses across Africa and beyond, with a growing team that shares Wilson's conviction that the internet should be affordable and accessible to everyone.
